Community Integration Program (CIP) Activities

The Community Integration Program (CIP) at OPTIONS aims to involve people with all types of disabilities and of all ages in recreation and leisure activities that are available to the general public and to promote the accessibility of community recreation and leisure options.

Participation in ALL of OPTIONS' activities, events, & opportunities is open to residents of Box Elder, Cache, & Rich Counties.

 

ALL ACTIVITIES, DATES AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Transportation costs for CIP activities and grocery shopping is $2

unless otherwise noted.

 

Grocery Shopping Trips: Call at least 24 hours in advance to reserve transportation for grocery shopping trips.

• July CIP Activities:

  • 10 - Visit the Golden Spike Monument in Promontory & Lunch at Calls. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch prices will vary. Transportation $2.
  • 16 - Miniature Golf at Willow Golf & Picnic. 12 noon. Bring a sandwich, OPTIONS will provide chips and drink. Golfing cost $2.50 and transportation $2.
  • 28 - ADA Summer Picnic at Von's Park, 350 East Center Street, Providence UT. 6 p.m. No cost for picnic, program and fun! Transportation available on a limited basis for those with no other way of travel and costs $2. RSVP by July 23.

• August CIP Activities:

  • 2 - Recreation Advisory Council (RAC). Give input and assist with planning the CIP activities. 12 to 1 p.m. at OPTIONS. RSVP at least 24 hours in advance. No transportation cost.
  • 5 - Bear Lake Raspberry Days Celebration. Craft fair, dinner and parade. 5:30 p.m. Meal prices will vary. Transportation $2.
  • 13 - Brigham Pool. 12 noon. Cost for swimming $5, food available for puchase or bring your own lunch. Transportation $2.
  • 18 - Pickleville Playhouse & Dinner. 6 p.m. Cost for chicken is $30.50 and steak is $32.50. Transportation $2. OPTIONS must receive payment and reservation for this activity by August 2.
  • 26 - Box Elder County Fair and Rodeo. 5:30 p.m. Dinner prices will vary. Cost of rodeo to be announced. Transportation $2.
  • 30 - Dinner up Blacksmiths Fork Canyon. 6:30 p.m. Cost for dinner $3 and transporation $2.
